[U/C] Re: Westfield Tea Tree Plaza (Extension)

I spoke to someone a few weeks ago who works for the Scentre Group, they claimed that Stage 2 of the TTP expansion should be starting this calander year. Apparently Stage 1 has been an even bigger success than they anticipated so they want to strike while the iron is hot. Good. Visiting TTP is like...

Absolute BS that the timetables are still running on reduced frequency when the Festive Season is now over and people are returning back to work. How much are they actually saving?

Stephen Knoll is becoming a disappointment.

[U/C] Re: SkyCity Adelaide Casino Expansion | 55m | 12 Levels | Hotel

I agree, when you consider that James Packer is spending a lazy $2 billion on Crown Sydney, the $300 million which Skycity are spending here can be defined as 'pocket money'. $330 million is still a serious amount of cash. And correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm pretty sure it's the single largest pri...

Radio Rentals on Main North Road was also closed.
I’m surprised Radio Rentals is even still around.

[COM] Re: Westfield Marion (Extension)

Paid Parking??? Chadstone in Melbourne does not have paid parking and they are much much more upper class than Marion. So why should SA shoppers be slugged. If they have paid parking in Marion i will just boycott that centre. I may as well be going to the CBD then. Plenty of shopping centres throug...

Article in the Advertiser today.

They are really slow on the ball with this one, considering it was on the news late last week.

[SWP] Re: Lot 14 (Old RAH Site)

So they've announced that the space agency headquarters will be here in Adelaide. It's no coincidence that where just a few months away from an election. At this time, ScoMo is most likely going to all of the states making 'good news' announcements. The announcement of the 'headquarters' being in A...

[COM] Re: Westfield Marion (Extension)

Um, given Big W is losing their space, I would have thought they'd have the rights to a new space? Also, is Foodland at Marion? If not, they would be well placed to set up shop there. Big W will be the new major store. Foodland isn't in any of the major shopping complexes. Probably because the rent...

[COM] Re: Westfield Marion (Extension)

Here's my guess
(from largest to smallest mini majors)
1. H&M
2. Uniqlo
3. JD Sports
4. JB Hifi
5. Best and Less
6. Sephora

This could be completely wrong, though I reckon the first two will be H&M and Uniqlo. Perfect combination.

[COM] Re: Westfield Marion (Extension)

This will take the total gross lettable space to 152,198 - making it the seventh largest shopping centre in Australia. 6 mini majors including 4 new ones (i'd assume H & M, Zara, Uniqlo and Apple). I reckon H&M and Uniqlo will be a definite, Marion is the perfect market for them. H&M will probably t...
