Aesthetically a great lokking building. I love the sleek glass look. A pity it does not have cantilever covers for pedestrians. I have a copy of the Adelaide City Plan fron 1975 where it speaks of developing a 'spine' of buildings along KWS. Sth. - only just catching on to their own vision 30 years...

What really gets my goat is that developers are given permission to build windows right to the edge of the site. No doubt if the adjacent land holders tried developing their land, they'd meet stiff protest from the apartment owners facing the prospect of a brick wall 2cm from the window. There are ...

Is it just me or does this whole development remind anyone else of the kind of architecture that was built in melbourne and everywhere else in the world in the 40's and 50s' as project or public housing...... It's not for the homeless/poor people mate. All it says is that the council will look favourably upon a affordable housing component of at least 15%.
