[COM] Re: #Completed : Adelaide Airport

This sounds huge! http://www.independentweekly.com.au/news/local/news/business/airport-plan-set-for-takeoff/1366883.aspx?page=0 Airport plan set for take-off ... this is a massive vote of confidence in SA! An airport expansion is not a trivial matter, and would not be considered unless they truly b...

Re: #Article: Adelaide architects failing in top-end design

So, as you suggest, start small with things like bus stops and signage and work through to larger infrastructure like bridges, rail stations and government buildings. Why not start with the Marj and the new SAPOL headquarters? Indeed, and i still think the ACC should improve the pedestrian crossing...

Re: Buses vs Trains Debate

i've feeling very pedantic today so just one little thing that bugs me is the name interchange, which makes me think of changing from a bus to a bus...i get worried when we start calling our railway stations 'interchanges', oh well says something about our train system atm  just look at the Ga...

Re: [] News: Adelaide City Council

Do you have a hidden agenda to transform Adelaide into some sort of Melbourne with those street names? No. But good on Melbourne for having street names that are relevant. Barton was our first prime minister, Monash was our greatest General, Stuart even could become a street name (atleast he surviv...

Re: A logic Numbering system fro Adelaide's Buses

IMO the bus system needs some serious fixing after the trains have been upgraded, AdMet could learn a lot from bus operators in countries like Germany, France and Switzerland, Well if the can doe it in a small provincial city in the middle of Schleswig-Holstein (ie Neumeunster) which only has 80,00...

Re: Why the Gawler line needs to be upgraded - NOW!

That line could do with a good station culling - it's a commuter railway, not a subway. How many people actually use the stops like Gawler Oval, Nurlutta, Womma, etc even in peak? I'm tempted to visit Womma some day - I love the name, lol. Mate of mine went there once - told me it was dead, and a h...

Re: A logic Numbering system fro Adelaide's Buses

And just a coincidence: AdMet has anew webpol running and it asks questions about Route numbers. Like, should they be 1 number, 2 number, 3 number or 3numbers and a letter or just letters. http://www.adelaidemetro.com.au/webpoll.html Funny stuff i think the bus stops on Mawson Lakes Blvd 33A,B and ...
