[PRO] Re: 134-136 Wright Street | ~52m | 16 Levels | Motel
I am a planner and deal with this. A motel has nothing to do with car spaces. It is a building for more than 5 travellers with no liquor licence. As I said it is a recent legal advice on description of development.

I would not worry. It is called a motel due to legal planning advice. I recall similar for the hotel being developed in playford. Cant recall exact reason why but not likely to be a motel like people associate.

Re: The SA Politics Thread
You are welcome to an opinion but that is bollocks. Much appeal in inner Adelaide is contained in its rich heritage - these buildings are not individually all worthy of listing but create a collective streetscape that should be protected. Thinking like that ruined parts of London and Birmingham in t...

Crazy how these only apply in the Greater Adelaide Shopping District or a Proclaimed Shopping District as defined in the legislation. In Murray Bridge awhile back and raced into supermarket at 4.50pm. Everyone seemed relaxed and asked staff when they closed. 10pm she said looking at me strange!

Re: Port Adelaide | Developments & News
Adelaide is on the verge of an economic collapse and they knock back development to conserve a view of a crappy bridge. Unfortunately Adelaide whole heatedly deserves where were headed.... If you want to see a city heading towards collapse look overseas, Adelaide is far from collapsing. The State G...

Re: News & Discussion: General CBD Development
i have a house near there. It is a very poor environment reinforced by signficiant fencing etc to control pedestrian movement. It feels like being a poorly designed tunnel. This design stems from the 80's (I tjhink) so a better design with more light, modern materials and decent pedestrian footspace...
