Re: ACC Stripped of Powers!

Fantastic news!!!! First Big Brother gets axed and now this!! It's about time that the ACC was shown the door on major projects but it's a pity that it has taken so long. Hopefully we'll get some really nice projects as a result of this change!

I didn't know Myer had a stake in Harris Scarfe. I thought they were both separate entities.

Re: Aussie Top Gear!

Yeah I agree. Without the three looneys on that show, it wouldn't be the same. I doubt driving a $1500 aussie bomb from Adelaide to Darwin would be much of a challenge considering they did something like that recently in Africa. I think it might be a little dry too considering we don't have the rang...

I thought Christians and Jews had different points of view (Mel Gibson?) and didn't particularly like each other.

Re: 2007 Australian Federal Election

I don't understand the fear campaign against the unions being perpetrated by the Liberals. I think such campaigns would only work with people who already vote Liberal anyway. I suspect that the majority of Australians would have a neutral or even positive view of the unions, since it is them who ha...

All this hate for the USA and their military, yet here you are posting on the Internet ! I think you have misunderstood what this topic is about. I don't hate Americans in general and I believe many people here don't either. I was simply pointing out how much money has gone into these two wa...

Yeah that's a fair call. I wouldn't want anyone to be forced into that situation just so the retailer can make a dollar. Believe me, I enjoy the breaks just as much as the next person.

This project keeps getting taller the longer it gets. Let's hope it doesn't start until late next year and by then, it'll be 40 floors and 125m tall! I'm still loving this project though. In fact, I'm keen on anything over 100m. :D
