Re: Mawson Lakes - Not just another suburb

They already could do with a multi level car park next to the train station, if a development of this size being approved they will need another multi level car park. If you have a closer read of the article above, it mentions 2 lev...

Re: #PRO: Blakeview

Is there anything Delfin hasn't done? AV Jennings and Urban Pacific are developing St Clair if that means anything to you? I heard they upset some builders in this development, I heard they changed the encumbrances after several display homes had began construction, so buyers looking to build whats...

Re: #PRO: Blakeview

I hope you're kidding. Definitely not kidding, I recently drove through the developments through the suburbs of Blakeview, Craigmore, Munno Para West & surrounding areas & Delfin's "Blake Crossing" when finished will be the best of the lot. So if they can continue to increase &quo...

Re: Article: Adelaide City Council told how to fix the city

It would be easy and you wouldn't even have to tell them, get all the Adelaide city council to go on a field trip...... to Melbourne.!!! I don't think anyone on the Adelaide City Council have ever even been out of South Australia.

Re: Proposal to Lift CBD Height Restrictions Defeated

When will large developers just bite the bullet and (secretly) employ younger and more agressive people to run for council on their behalf that aren't worried about a bunch of old timers that actually vote for these wanna be politicians not voting for them. The developers could provide these young ...

Re: Are residents outside of Adelaide CBD scared of heights?

I find this to be a massive problem. It it what holds our city back I think that the area which is affected worse by this, is Norwood Your spot on, how many extra people (especially young professionals or singles who love the cosmopolitan lifestyle that comes with living in Norwood) would move into...

Re: Are residents outside of Adelaide CBD scared of heights?

I think you must have missed the threads on this forum relating to multi-storey residential and commercial development in the suburbs. Look them up, or better yet go for a drive to the following places: Mawson Lakes Port Adelaide Glenelg All these suburbs have plenty of multi-storey development, an...

Re: Are residents outside of Adelaide CBD scared of heights?

I agree with jk1237. Modbury being so close to a large retail precinct and so many 20-30 somethings that grew up in the area would definitely be interested in purchasing this type of living. I think any suburb needing urban renewel around a large Commercial precint should consider this sort of livin...

Are residents outside of Adelaide CBD scared of heights?

I just dont get height restrictions in the suburbs outside Adelaide CBD. All we see & here in the media is development proposals continuesly being knocked back due to height restrictions. I think councils think we residents who live outside of the CBD are scared of heights. I believe in planning...
