I went past this site today and there is now temporary fencing around the property and they were doing what looked like test sample core drills. Probably a good sign that this development is progressing to the point that they are designing foundations. Hopefully some renders and more details get rel...

The crane base is now installed.
There has also been a mobile crane onsite installing tilt panels along the rear boundary so the building is starting to take shape.

Southern end of light square getting some much needed love. Fished a beer bottle out of there today. Hopefully the drunkards can stop themselves from damaging the new plants long enough for them to get established. http://i897.photobucket.com/albums/ac174/mshagg/th_20140601_152649_zpsc39a76c5.jpg h...

It seems as well as selling this site the council is also selling the old bus depot. (reported in todays paper) Hopefully these locations are purchased by someone with some new ideas and designs that actually get off the ground. Having these derelict sites in a central part of the city is not a goo...

BTW does anyone know when the public will be able to access the site? It was officially opened a couple of weeks ago, and the Tour infrastructure's been removed, and it's still fenced off. I went through today and the northern half was pretty open (including the road through Wakefield/Grote). They ...

While driving through the city today I noticed that 333 King William Street is getting what appears to be an additional level or two. The new steel structure is very visible. This building was refurbished a few years ago and has the lift shaft extending higher than the building. I guess that means t...
