Re: Railyards Site Redevelopment
Just throwing it out there: What if they just cleaned up the rail yards returned them back parkland(?) and redevelop glenside (without selling off the land to the shopping centre next door) and plonk the new RAH there, then move the mental heath services to Hampstead after its redevelopment. This wa...

Re: Extension plans for Tonsley, Noarlunga lines
Don't you mean Emerson and Clarence Park - you can see the next station from either of them.SRW wrote: Edwardstown and Emerson should be merged into one station
Also, just extend Tonsley to Flinders and extend Noarlunga to Aldinga - oh damn no money as per usual.

Re: Railyards Site Redevelopment
Also, apparently, the current Railway Station site was intended for a Botanical Gardens anyway, bit it seems that both Labor and the Liberals want to develop the site, (Labor, Marj obviously, and the Liberal a new interstate rail terminal - see their 20 year plan from http://www.martin2010.com.au). ...

Re: APPROVED: $60m State Swimming Centre
Although this is better than not being built at all and probably better for me cause i live close to marion i think the governements distributed sporting complex policy is not good for sports in this state. If this government is serious about holding world class sporting events it should create a s...

RE: RegionaLink and Adelaide Metro Vision by Pat28
That chicken-and-egg situation is what plagues most infrastructure in this country, public transport especially. Couldn't agree more, after doing a pilot survey, for some work, public transport generally is a chicken-and-egg situation. Just look at the Hills for example - total farce and severe und...

Re: RegionaLink and Adelaide Metro Vision by Pat28

On anther point, Norman keep up the good wor...
