Absolutely love them! Outdoor escalators bring a sense of class and character to an area, a different unique feel. Needs to be a lot more of them.

For me, Westpac house is still the dominant building in the skyline due to it's position and width, it especially dominates from the Airport. Other angles whilst it's a bit rivalled, 90% of the compass it either strongly dominates or slightly dominates. Perhaps only the NE angle it does not.

I'm baffled as to why they can't find some money for the Park terrace crossing, pretty much the worst in Adelaide. Brighton probably #2

Perhaps a little early but I'm gradually liking this less and less with every new pane of glass that goes on. Would be right at home on the City Central block......

[U/C] Re: North-South Motorway

Tunnel the lot I disagree. If a tunnel is going to happen then a two part tunnel that allows people to get on/off seems more useful. Especially because it would allow options for an eventual Anzac Highway/West Tce upgrade directly connecting the city to the motorway. Well that goes without saying, ...

Ugh, new design is a pretty large downgrade, puts everything in straight lines giving it a blocky rectangle feel. it's still going to be good but it could have been excellent. Loved the old.

Well after driving on it the other day I can certainly say it gets the thumbs-up from me. Fantastic surface, as smooth as it gets. Certainly a lot better than the Southern Expressway when that opened which had lumps and bumps everywhere. Top job. Just can't wait till it's all done but to be frank th...

[U/C] Re: North-South Motorway

Surprised to read on comments here some sections are 2 lanes only heading north? I really think this will bite them in the not too distant future. Merging on expressways is a major cause for congestion. If the trench is wide enough, why have they not just kept the number of lanes consistent? Once t...

Unfortunately this will never be our tallest. This one is crawling at snails pace compared to Adelaidean. Given it has no basement.
I think once they start getting the floors done it will rocket up but do they measure height by the core or actual completed floors?

4 x 100+ metre high buildings being built concurrently (Kodo, Adelaidean, Realm and this one). Who'd have thought this a few short years ago? Within a year we might have 6 100+m towers going up, all those cranes will make for a very different Adelaide skyline! Agree, looking absolutely fantastic, 1...

That building reminds me of a shot out place in a war zone when viewed from a distance - name ...as someone has said....something similar to stalag 13. ADELAIDE - TOWARDS A GREATER CITY SKYLINE Was thinking something out of war torn Somalia or something like in Black Hawk Down....truly horrific
