ROFL "dodgy".

The project has never been in any danger of not proceeding.

They've taken their (own) time to evolve the design, during which they were also committed to the construction of Kent Town.

I'm not sure why that's a concern to anybody outside......?

Crane is up, but no loading bay? Cruised passed the other day and it was chaos on pirie with a truck backing in, people walking on the road and cars driving on the wrong side of the road.
Temporary arrangement until SAPN sort the overhead powerlines I believe.

Crane base now on site.
Does anyone else think the placement of the crane odd? Is it going to grow out of a lift core?

The piles have been poured up to original ground level and then broken down, probably because they have no means of getting the piling rig down into the excavation now.

Wasn't sure where to post this, but installation of the 'Smart Parking" linemarking and sensors, is currently underway in Pulteney, Flinders and Pirie Streets.

I finally got to see this site today when I saw the crane in the distance. I only got a picture from the side street (Queen St) as there was nowhere to stop on the parade at 5.30 pm. Work has just started on level 6 from the parade end. Wrong site - Nuova is only one lot west of the Portrush Rd int...

Re: News & Discussion : New Restaurants, Bars & Night Clubs

The former PJ O'Briens on West Tce is becoming B'Churrasco; a Brazilian style steakhouse. It'll be the second one in Australia (the first opened in Melbourne not long ago) In addition, The Office On Pirie states 'Temporarily Closed', presumably due to either landlord in possession, liquor licensing...

Went there once, it was truly awful.

It was tiny, had square corners, and a brick wall hard up against one side.

Work has been slow going on RMP. Nothing visible has changed since OPSM opened in November. Hopefully lots behind the hoarding.
Looks like they've started dismantling the old escalators this week.

Saw some of it on TV with the TDU. The dust/sand (as it was & will be windy) looked liked it could be an issue. Anyone know if there is plans to plant lawn (seed) outside the track and would it survive (unless irrigated) ? I think artificial lawn could be ideal esp with the heat but it’s such a mas...

Does anyone know what's planned? Just drove past there, demolition has unveiled some interesting painting on the adjacent bu...
