Re: #Official Defence Thread

More flooding in South East Queensland, which further enhances my concerns about RAAF base Amberley.

Re: Petrol Station Owners

The Caltex on north east road in walkerville has closed down. This follows another Caltex closing down on main north road earlier in the year. There was also a Caltex that closed down in the city a few years ago. Pretty sad that a business such as Caltex which does things by the book, can’t compete ...

Without being too negative, I can’t help but think that these student buildings won’t be too popular.
Living in one of these buildings must be a nightmare in terms of COVID-19.

And no, I'm not saying UAP or ON will be better. But they certainly couldn't be any worse then the garbage we've been dealt by Liberal and Labor for decades. Maybe a kick in the ass is what they need.
Has anyone seen One Nation’s policy on climate change ?

It’s a joke.

According to the article, the developer can demolish the existing building without approval.
Some of the residents nearby have complained that they were never informed that demolition
was going to occur.

The developer is now hoping to get approval for a 10 level building.

Albanese made a small mistake yesterday, but it shows that he’s not very smart.
Memorising numbers is not intelligence.
Mate, Albanese was there 2 weeks ago on budget night when Frydenberg said that unemployment is 4%.

What was Albanese doing.....sleeping ? playing pocket pinball ?

Re: Federal election 2022

There's been plenty of occasions when leaders haven't recalled the numbers offhand or gotten them wrong in previous election campaigns (including supposed best PM ever  John Howard) that basically just got footnotes in reporting of the day. I don’t accept your argument. John Howard did make a ...

Re: Federal election 2022

It's a blunder, but a minor one and it happened at the start of the campaign. No excuses. In politics there is nothing minor. This is the supposed new prime minister. Besides if this was Scomo those on the other side would be all over him. I agree, its frightening that a man who doesn’t know the ca...

Maybe our shitty politicians and their even shittier behaviour is just a sad and honest reflection our of society.
Today albanese wasn’t even able to recall the unemployment rate.
I can’t believe how hopeless our politicians are.

OTR must be looking to expand into Melbourne fairly seriously over the
next few years. They had OTR signage on the Mclaren cars at the GP in Melbourne
which would have cost a fortune !

[U/C] Re: M2 North-South Motorway

One thing is for sure, they need to do something about the bottleneck between the brickworks and Thebarton theatre.

If you’re heading south thru this area, there’s a lot of traffic built up due to a lot of cars coming off the motorway.

I am sick to death of it !

Re: #Official Defence Thread

Sorry, whats that sound I hear? Crickets. Didn't some pathetic troll bang on incessantly that defence in SA would be better off under a Coalition government? You have your answer. It's no. Mate, in 2012/13 under labor defence spending dropped to 1.56% of gdp. The lowest level since 1938. To put thi...

The 60 King William building currently under construction also mentions a supermarket, though not much more detail about size or brand. The main supermarket brand missing is obviously ALDI... they strategically surrounded the CBD with stores but seemingly don't venture to put one actually into the ...

This thread isn't about discussing the flooding in another state or about your dumb ideas regarding WW3 and how you think China is going to wipe us out unless SCUMO is re-elected. Firstly, no need to get shirty just because I have more defence knowledge than you. Secondly, I believe that if Scum Mo...

Our national security is currently severely compromised.

For you guys who think differently. What will the plan be if world war 3 breaks out and its bucketing down at Amberley ?
