[COM] Re: Goodwood/Springbank/Daws Road Intersection
My point was not to not allow them to build, but I'm reasonably confident that there would have been a much cheaper option for the Government to have purchased this land before the Service Station was rebuilt (it had been vacant for years). This intersection has been on the cards for years and whils...

[COM] Re: Goodwood/Springbank/Daws Road Intersection
Ridiculous that this was allowed to be built only a few years back.

[U/C] Re: North-South Motorway
I travel through the West Beach Rd\Tapleys Hill Road multiple times every day and there is absolutely no need (or will there ever be) and underpass at this intersection. I can think of many many many more intersections that require an overpass before that one.

[U/C] Re: North-South Motorway
I drove on it yesterday and, whilst it doesn’t bother me, it is a bit of a roller coaster. Now I understand that this is a cost cutting exercise and I’d love to know how many dollars were saved by doing this. I’m presuming it was in the millions and maybe the reason they could include the Torrens rd...

Re: PRO: 30-year Transport Plan PRO | $36b
The point is, I have pretty much lived in Adelaide for my whole life and have seen many of these 30 year plans come and go, and they always seem to be coincide with an up coming election (whether that be labor or liberal). I can't remember any that have actually come true, especially considering 30 ...

[U/C] Re: News & Discussion: South Road / North-South Corridor
I'm torn about whether this was the best road segment to fund. The northern connector funneling Northern Expressway traffic directly onto the superway would be a much more straight forward venture and with two road works, one now complete and the other nearing completion, would probably have been t...

Re: U/C: Adelaide Airport Carpark & Pedestrian Plaza
If mega airports like BKK and SIN can have their dropoff zones within a 15 second walk of the check-in gates, then I reckon little ol ADL probably could as well. Unbelievable this could have been accepted in the design given it will be decades and much higher flight traffic before another facility ...

Re: #UC: 5 lvl Car Park & Pedestrian Plaza - Adelaide Airpor
No your understanding isnt correct. The drop off/pick up area is about 3 times the length of the old one, however it is not fully open as construction is still on going. When complete it will be huge. Still cant believe the stupidity of people who cant follow signs. It is very well sign posted with ...
