Work has commenced on this now. area is all fenced off and workers on site doing 'stuff' (I'm interested but uneducated on all things construction..)

There is a big 100ish metre crane south of Pt Augusta at the moment- would appear they are building the tower mentioned in the posts above. Quite striking with literally nothing around it.

That a Woolworths Petrol going in next to Bunnings in Mt Barker, should be open by Christmas. The OTR in that area is proposed for a vacant lot in Nairne

Most of the drive through OTR convenience outlets came along well before the nearby fuel outlets. This was Perigrines initiative when drive through coffee ventures such as Muzz Buzz were popping up, much easier to get a retail outlet up and running than a fuel site.
