[U/C] Re: North-South Motorway

I rode through the T2T this morning. The rollercoasters nature of the freeway is very obvious when you ride it on a bike. There is a major rise in the lowered motorway between Hawker Street and Torrens Road with a lesser rise between the outer harbour railway line and Hawker Street. I can only assu...

Re: Beer Garden

The ABC's Australian Story are doing a program on Whyalla/Sanjeev Gupta airing Monday September 24. Should be a good watch. I wonder if they'll have anything on Adani's involvement in the solar project here in SA, while over in Queensland they are destroying fresh water sources, or if it'll be anot...

Re: Beer Garden

LOL what marketing efforts by Red Door and their pizza business on the side? I live in the area, and haven't seen a single thing. Poor business model exposed by a curve ball, operators failed to adapt, and they're gone. They could have spoken with someone from T2T and worked out a deal to provide fo...

Re: F1 to Adelaide

Well naturally, they got rid of the F1, and are throwing $100,000 at SATourism to pull down the grand stand for the 500 two weeks quicker. Why would they get behind another motorsport event on the city street circuit? They don't want to upset their benefactors in the inner east now do they...think o...

Another issue is - would the 36ers and Thunderbirds want to move from their current locations? The reason TSA was built in the first place was so basketball didn't have to share a venue with concerts (and the scheduling clashes that come with it). Seems to work well in Perth with their city arena. ...

Don't get me started about the lack of lighting in Bonython Park. I end up having to take War Memorial Dr home during the darker months (which is very poorly lit, but poorly lit is better than not lit at all). Are parental fears that big of a thing with a high school? I can understand parents of a ...

There are 8 bidders vying for a license with only 2 of them to be accepted in this round, and there are also massive doubts the already delayed expansion process will go ahead next season due to the congress issues at FFA. If the Wyndham stadium were to be built it would be the model for the league...

Between 2002 and 2016 Lion Air Group(Malindo is a subsidiary) has had 11 crashes or crash landing. One incident where a plane hit a cow on landing. Last year they had an oil spill on the tarmac with passengers on board, fuel pouring out of the wing. In April a Malindo flight overshot the runway bec...

It's an interesting concept, but two stadiums would be better. One for football (soccer) and outdoor events and one for indoor sports and events. Lille is a small city compared to Adelaide. We need to think big. Cheers I think the Lille concept IS thinking pretty big! Realistically, does anyone ser...
