Re: Port Pirie

I have also heard that a Hungry Jacks store will be part of the Centro Development. But not like normal hj's, instead opting for the city cross style of an express store. Its also way behind schedule. The steel framework is completed at the front. I doubt wether subway would go their, as they alread...

[COM] Re: $1.7bn plan to build a new RAH

Yeah Cruise Control, i read that article by Amanda Blair, i dont exactly agree to calling 'The Marjorie Jackson Nelson Hospital' i mean hey, she was a great woman, but when it comes to the name i think we should have stuck with RAH, its our main hospital, and is supposed to be the most advanced once...

News & Discussion: Monarto Transport Hub

A SECOND major airport for South Australia could be built near Monarto "in the next 10 to 20 years". Later this month, local government leaders from the Murraylands, Fleurieu and Adelaide Hills will meet and are expected to offer their support for the project. Murraylands Regional Developm...

Geez, Adel Airport is too close to the CBD, Parafield is not large enough, WOW, they certainly planned for the future (not!). I have to agree and say the best location definetely would have been Adelaide Plains, for an airport, plenty of open space. But its just one blow after another for adelaide, ...

it would be great if parafield airport could handle domestic and some international flights, its further from the cbd, but it would also mean even worse traffic problems along main north rd.

God, these restrictions are ridiculous, i suppose thats the consequence of having an international airport so close to the CBD, while other cities like Melbourne have their main aiport on the outskirts of the city.

Time for an upgrade to the city's rail system

Our rail system is due for an overhaul, Adelaide needed to go electric a few years ago, when other capital cities did, plus we probably have the oldest fleet of trains. Some stations have been due for an upgrade years ago. The salisbury train station is so unsafe, at night time there are drunks and ...

[PRO]

i have to agree with crawf, marion has so many majors, it has about 30,000+ shoppers a day, i think the money could be better used, by constructing a new complex, somewhere else in the city, ttp will not need an expansion after the current project is finished, and i dont think west lakes needs expan...
