They might have some nice renders in the documents For this development I think it's safe to say you won't be able to miss seeing that info as soon as it is available, this is a high profile development. I wo...

Re: News & Discussion: Roads & Traffic
Fine. On the one hand there is apparently extensive modelling and evidence from crashes to support the change. On the other hand there are those complaining that a drive through this section will take an extra 30 seconds under ideal conditions with this change. On the other other hand there are thos...

Re: M1 South-Eastern Freeway
Clearly what is needed is a grid of several hundred high speed raise bollards laid out across the intersection. Usually down, they will be under the control of an AI monitoring system which on detecting an out of control truck will raise the necessary bollards to bring the runaway vehicle to a stop....

I'm pretty sure the ACC has been vocal in supporting any tram plans this whole time, so can't see it changing much unfortunately.Ben wrote: ↑Sat May 18, 2024 9:34 amAs part of the ACCs new city plan they are advocating for a city loop as part of their strategy 6.

:) The people that run the pub don't own it. They lease the space from the current landlord. They could be running a profit for all we know, but the landlord can choose not to extend the lease if they want to develop it. The Cranker (and the other venues they run on the site) are very successful and...

The concrete channel seems absolutely required though unfortunately, at peak periods the water flow through there is massive and the drains are part of the infrastructure for preventing potential flooding of the area, have often thought how wonderful it would be if it could be more similar to the T...

Re: News & Discussion: Cycling
The South Road publicity material with all it's talk of green space and community improvements (90% of which will end up as dead gravel based on other sections) mentions a possible bike/cycle path there. Re: Allow high density building in the South
The government keeps approving developments in the southern neighbourhoods, such as Christies Beach, Seaford, Aldinga. But all those developments are houses, and none of them add density, which is essential for a vibrant area. Seaford has the potential to become a satellite city but it needs to bec...
