Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains
What a terrible decision. Here's hoping common sense prevails. I applaud this decision by our state government :applause: Cricket is booooooring You personal sporting likes are irrelevant. This decision makes the whole state look foolish. It needs to be corrected ASAP. Sent from my iPhone using Tap...

What a terrible decision. Here's hoping common sense prevails. Or Ka-noll could be one of those idiots that doubles down on a bad decision because they are deathly afraid of being called a flip flopper? I hope this Incredibly stupid move is avoided. There’s 52 weeks in a year and ‘this’ important w...

Could you imagine how quickly Mark Hamilton’s head would explode if this was presented to the ACC!rev wrote:Car free zones, pedestrian/PT only zones...

And apparently Sandy Wilkinson's gone :D :D :D Just beaten by Franz Knoll (Stephen's father) in the final preferences. Knoll seems fairly progressive compared to Wilkinson: https://franzknoll.com.au/policies/all-policies Compare that to the nightmare of Mark Hamilton’s ‘cars first’ manifesto from a...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide City Council
With Antic and Wilkinson gone, hopefully two big barriers to progress have now been removed... wonderful news! I particularly disliked Antic for his strange anti-bicycle obsession. We might actually get an E/W bike way now? (IIRC that the State was keen to pay for.) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Are they even ‘for’ Public Transport at all? I remember how difficult it was to get their PT policy prior to the recent State Election! [emoji848][emoji848]Mpol03 wrote:Aren't the Liberal government against trams?

Re: News & Discussion: Laneway & Streetscape Projects
I hope one day we see Gawler Place receive the shared-zone treatment for its whole length (to Wakefield Street). I think a tree-lined pedestrian priority north-south avenue would become our greatest laneway. I like this idea. But if Mark Hamilton becomes Lord Mayor it’ll end up a 4 lane through roa...

I understood that the 60km/h limit was temporary until the bitumen settled. That could be wrong, but that's what I heard when it opened. And, as has been said before, the Superway had the same issue. See, that is a more believable excuse than drivers need to get used to it. I’m not across how bitum...

Went for a drive on the T2T part of the Motorway. I gotta say, its probably the most unremarkable development of the road. They should have made it longer, connected it with the Super way. When the Superway was done, it felt like you were going places. What really grinds my gears and rattles my Kni...

Caffe Primo ML appears to have shut its doors for good. Last night, the lights were out and it was shut up tight. stuck to the entrance door was an eviction notice (the note said non payment of rent if I read it correctly in the dark) and a pair of "For Lease" signs out the front!

Can we just get a little time without roadworks on that area of the N/S corridor? Geez it’s like a never ending parade if hi-viz and reduced speeds1NEEDS2POST wrote:Since this will finish ahead of schedule, when will work start on the Pym Street to Regency Road section?
