Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail
So G-Star will be staying in the Myer Centre until the original contract ends, another 4 years (very dissapointed). Renovations of the Myer centre will begin in the new year and should last a whole year. Starting from the top floors which will be offices and heading down to the lower ones by the yea...

Re: #UC: 5 lvl Car Park & Pedestrian Plaza - Adelaide Airpor
This is probably the easiest car park to use in all of Australia. You have got to be an idiot not to be able to follow the signs to find your way around and with the new parking system it makes it take much easier to get a park too.

Re: Discussion: New MetroCard System
How much quicker is it then paper tickets anyway though; in my experience, it's not worth even saying it's quicker. The machines are slow, and by the time it comes up on the screen with your balance after you validate it, you may as well have used a paper ticket. . Wowwwwwwwwwwww, are you seriously...

Re: Is it too late to save the Port?
most pointless development.. ever. bringgg backkkk newwwwporttttttt queysssssss! No, just no. Newport Quays has been a monumental failure. It's a massive ugly gated community with absolutely no street level activation whatsoever. This is exactly the sort of development that should be discouraged. H...

[COM] Re: General Rundle Mall Development & Progress Thread
Rundle mall needs more resturants and cafes. They are what will bring people into the mall day and night. People need a place to eat and drink. Just take a look at European cities and their malls. They have cafes right through the middle, from top to bottom and the night life is nothing like any cit...

[ONH] Re: Proposed: Indoor adventure park near Parafield Airport
Sounds great but only thing that lets it down is it's location on main north road which while having high visibility and good road access it has really bad public transport. How are people supposed to get to and from this place? Buses only come every 30-60min at the best of times, trains are over a...

Re: New Retail in the CBD
anyone know why that old health food shop and the neighbouring pink former clothes shop (Ice or something), across from the Myer Centre has been vacant for a couple of years now. Why on earth wouldn't the owner not want to do something with it Last I heard those buildings are vacant because they're...

Re: Is it too late to save the Port?
Cities such as Hobart, Aukland, Wellington, which have fantastic lively waterfronts, have something that Port Adelaide does not: The major city centre is right there. Rather than try to make Port Adelaide like them, I think we should be looking at a place like Fremantle (which I admit I have not se...
