Morphett Rd grade seperation may also form part of the project whilst the tram line is closed Can confirm Morphett Road grade separation has been scrapped. It's still showing on the DIT website, although details are very scarce. When was it announced that it had been scrapped? Traffic flow at Morph...

Stage 2 is 600MW wind and 600MW solar. But the game changer is a battery delivering 900MWh for 2 hours at a time. Say whatever ...

All well and good. But like many ponds put in estates they soon get neglected.
More likely to be a glorified stormwater detention basin rather than a proper landscaped pond.

Re: News & Discussion: Trams

Am I missing something here? How in the hell is this costing $35m? I can only imagine... The need to use small equipment because larger machines don't fit past the trees, and the need to prop up an operating tramway while removing the structural integrity provided by the arches? The tramway will be...

Re: News & Discussion: Trams

Landlord special is about right. Absolutely ludicrous decision.

How many trees are being removed (or have already been removed) for the North-South Corridor? Removing trees for roads is fine, but for active transport and improved accessibility to public transport, it's not okay?

Grenfell Street crane to come down on the 25th Feb. Botanic high not long after. Nothing new planned in the CBD that I can think of. Maybe Hutt Street and East Terrace although both are small enough they could be done with mobile cranes. kings head appears to be on hold. 17 Hutt St will have a towe...

Piling here will be starting soon-ish. Not sure on exact timelines but expect this to ramp up in the near future.
My source who told me this in September yesterday told me that works here were 'months away'.

Might be time to get a better source for this project..

[PRO] Re: Westfield Marion (2019/20 Extension)

They've been carrying out enabling works for the past few years. Strengthening columns and the like everytime a Mini-Major becomes empty. They're starting this in the former Bowland space soon.

This will enable the existing carpark structure to support the weight of the new build above.

Evening everyone. Yep word is out - Westin Adelaide is in. The indaily had some old renders in there. You guys can have the work lodged for DA. MicBara … what are the contingency plans and Plan B if AMOSAH doesn’t receive government funding? You have to admit it’s a pretty big “if”. Will it be addi...

[U/C] Re: M2 North-South Motorway

Works at Majors Rd have started. Lots of trees have been cleared. It looks like the shared us path between MSR and SEXY will be underway soon as well.

I'd be surprised if Major (sorry for the pun) works will start before Xmas but should be underway early in the New Year.
