Re: News & Discussion: Transport Projects
If you're so concerned about trams having priority, then don't run them on street. It's a trade off. I catch the trams out of and into the city every day, the time they spend at lights is minimal. Most of the standing time is waiting for the next section to clear of the previous tram(s). Have to di...

Re: Adelaide Bashing - Strategies to Combat
Thinking that "a city's skyline is the strongest indicator of the vibrancy and success of a city" is only in developing/new developed countries. As someone said before, Perth was going no where until a few tall buildings got built. We are ages ahead in vibrancy compared to Perth and in som...

As I predicted, the other side has panels being installed now. Other than that, some good news in terms of conventions. Has the Australian changed it a bit? Fred Phillis and Melbourne-based architect Robert Caulfield are in the early stages of designing a building that could reach more than 108 metres, just short of Westpac House - which stands at 132 metres. instead of Fred Phillis and Melbourne-based architect Robe...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Parklands
Agree with all of Shuz's points except for the office development. My decision would entirely depend on what we would be getting if it were to be an office. It could be used for a new museum or even another theatre? Be aware, most of points are more entertainment based and most of them would not eve...
