[PRO] Re: 292-300 Rundle Street | 63m | 20 Levels | Mixed Use

It's telling that the render is positioned to be the "least offensive" view from way back on North Tce. On the contrary it shows the impact on the skyline that this will have in the immediate area surrounding it, so it could actually act as a negative point of discussion against this deve...

[CAN] Re: 322 KWS - Echelon | 114m | 2 x 31 Lvls | Mixed Use

I walked past the showroom yesterday morning and it was closed, but it was open when I went past again a few hours later. Right from the start it's stated on the door 'open by appointment' (this might be standard for showrooms) rather than give set times. There could be more of an effort to show tha...

Regarding the building's use (assuming it's a serious endeavour etc), don't we already know based on the info from the JWDT site? "In 2016 JWDT Group acquired a block of land in the core area of Adelaide CBD, and will develop an iconic building, namely DOMINATOR 1, on the site. The project will...

Not a great fan of the towers' design or size, but if this development delivers that sort of streetscape impression, I'll settle for that. Great job by those who've shared/resized the renders. :applause:

[COM] Re: SkyCity Adelaide Casino Expansion | 11 lvls | 51m | $300

Skycity announced its latest profits today and in the report was the smallest mention yet I've seen of the development. In fact it sounds like it has been delayed even further reading between the lines. What a joke this company is. Meanwhile In Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and the Goldcoast t...

None of your explanation. Just the madness and miscommunication in the entire thread up to now.
Ah, I get you. Yes, it's an 'interesting' thread!

[COM] Re: Uni of Adelaide - Med School | 70m | 15lvl | $120m

Well, after a first reply saying they'd speak to someone from the project team and get back to me, I received this response to my tweet to the uni about the lines on the side of the building: "... the shapes are a combination of the reflection of the railway lines that border the north of the b...

With impeccable timing, I wrote a better version of this just before the site crashed yesterday! Now the muse has passed, here’s a less eloquent effort... Returning to the minor but intriguing lines-up-the-side-of-the-building matter, had this been going up, say, 30 years ago (with all the excitemen...

[COM] Re: Frome Central | retail/hotel/student | towers:134/75m &

The student building won't win any design awards, that's for sure, but the refinements for the main tower look much better. All things considered, I'd rather have the ugly student building and the main tower than none of them.

Re: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment

And how will traders in Gouger St and around the Square precinct be to see Fringe goers drawn away to AO and Pinky Flat? Wasn't some of the "friction" generated by bricks and mortar establishments, complaining about pop ups like the RCC taking all the peak season trade? Cant have it both ...
