As requested....... Re: SA Economy

Article in today's Advertiser saying that S.A's population grew at 0.9% for 2019. Our fastest rate for 5 years but still the slowest of all the states. Can post full article if anyone really interested.

That’s not really a great location for office space.

But superb for apartments.
Please explain why not a good location for office space?

Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail

Agree that the food court level seems to work well, strange that, it's the level in the Myer centre that I use the most. Its usually quite busy 🤔 My general opinion and only from experience, multi-level shopping centres just don't seem to work. Orchard Road in Singapore is my example, many multi-lev...

Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail

Bulldoze the Myer centre did I read? Won't happen.A Singaporean investment consortium recently, well in the past couple of years, bought it for around $270 million. It's unfortunate though, because they were talking about turning it into some sort of shopping mecca, re-opening all the closed shops o...

Re: SA Economy

The last figure I saw was a slight improvement in population growth rate to 0.9%. It all depends how it's reported I guess. I think that 0.9% was for the 12 months to the end of September this year. Which possibly means it is accelerating, so will be interested to see the figure for the 2019 calende...

I love the fact Adelaide is finally starting to catch up with the world, it's definitely a major risk/sacrifice to take this on. If you knew how much even this Coles means to the city, the amount of reliance people have on the current setup is alarming. Its one of the busiest Coles in all of Austra...

tfw your “unashamedly bold” vision is four metres taller than a building that’s been around since 1988. Do we have any idea if there’s even demand for a chunky new office building? I got the impression he was talking more about the design of a building, rather than the height.... We aren’t develope...

Yes the tower crane had gone by 4pm today and the mobile was lifting in some concrete panels for the lift core at the roof level .These could not be placed while the tower crane was in place. Click on picture for bigger. Yep, I did see that yesterday. That is a very large mobile crane. 200 tonne at...
