A few months ago I saw renders of two buildings on one podium ( I can’t remember the exact location but I think it’s this one) if it is I wouldn’t be too excited. The building looked very average and wasn’t tall.

This along with Realm have definitely changed the east end. Hopefully we get a few more tallish towers on this end to create a nice cluster.

Completely agree, they shouldn’t build this on the wetlands they just built since that would just be a waste of tax payers money. I also think this would have been a lot better if they located in across north terrace in the block where the old HQ is, this would have connected better with the surroun...

I think the design isn’t too bad, it’s not the most imaginative building but if it was only a few more floors taller (around 100m tall) I think it would have been a lot better because at the moment it just blends in with the surrounding buildings as they are all pretty much the same height.

Didn’t get a photo but this also looks really impressive on our skyline from the airport 👌🏻 Just need something built between this and Vue to complete the whole skyline.

There seriously needs to be more strict rules when it comes to building in Adelaide so rubbish uninspiring designs like this don’t get built. I’d rather what is there now than have to live with this ugly box for the next 75 years. Why can’t we get more buildings like Realm which actually have some a...

This is complete BS, Why the F##k are they building apartments in Aldinga. Seriously Adelaide needs to stop urban sprawl, this is the last thing we need. Aldinga was once such a beautiful little country town away from the suburbs, now with the help of all the development there it is quickly turning ...

Can they knock down its neighbour and build something new there as well?
Unfortunately that ugly box tower next door is all apartments so it would be a massive task of paying every tenant for their apartment before you could do anything with it.

So basically if all goes to plan, we will have 6 buildings above 100m tall under construction, I don’t think has ever happened in the history of Adelaide, especially since we only currently have 3 buildings over 100m. This is brilliant news for Adelaide and I could say I’m mildly excited 👌🏻

How bloody sad. So disappointed, I was really hoping I could take the tram from the city to work in North Adelaide... but not anymore, I guess I’ll just have to keep walking :(
So glad they are spending $30 million on the right hand turn though.... Said no one ever

Advertising hoarding gone and a frame is being placed around it - not sure if that is part of the dismantling process, but photo below anyways.
There is some sort of framing at the top of the tower in the original renders, maybe this is the start of that?

I actually really like this building. I know a lot of you think it’s ugly as s**t but I think if it were painted white it would do a world of difference. For example there is a student accommodation building in India that is very similar but looks so nice. https://www.archdaily.com/883227/stacked-st...
