[COM] Re: 104-106 Currie Street | 117m | 33lvl | Sofitel Hotel

The developer put together a short time-lapse video https://youtu.be/AEDBMcyJ4T8

They also advised that apartments might potentially be settled in December (except if something goes wrong, in case it, well, won't happen before 2021...)

This has topped out. and according to the Advertiser construction to be finishing in December (though the article also started out with declaring it the second tallest building behind Westpac house.... before realizing that they are a little bit late with that and changing it to the fourth tallest b...

If you want to triangulate you have
- Bohem behind Credit Union
- Central City behind 262 South Terrace
- West Franklin North behind Penny Place

Put those lines on a map and they intersect right around where the picture is supposed to be taken....

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines

Apparently Singapore is flying an A380 once per week "A Singapore Airlines Airbus A380-900 aircraft will provide a once-weekly service to Adelaide." Except that Singapore Airlines doesn't list an A380-900 in its fleet, only an A380-800 and an A350-900..... https://www.singaporeair.com/en_...

Just for ref, here's the existing trail: map-parklands-trail.jpg Turns out the ochre colour is not applied to its full length, but it does traverse the northern parklands. The proposed new one appears to be different through the Botanic Garden, south parklands, West Terrace Cemetery and near Adelai...

I am not sure about the colour of the car park walls. They're a bit .......... er brown? Please click on picture for bigger. Well, it seems to have a reddish tint (at least that's what my screen seems to produce), so it's kind of complementary to the Court building green... Sent from my LG-H870DS u...

“Upmarket” [emoji23] Upmarket for many students is buying the fancier brand of instant ramen for 80 cents a packet instead of the 40 cent ones, it's all relative Actually, I'd guess that for most rooms the sqm rent will be higher than in the new next door building.... I make it 16 stories if you allow 2 stories behind street level scaffolding. note this picture is from 3 weeks ago.
I guess they could have a 'mezzanine' floor, are those counted as a separate level?

what height would the core be sitting at right now? I'm thinking around 50? in meters? It should be about floor 28/29, so that means it's closer to about a 100m ok, I based my figure on the bus being around 2.5m. to be 100m would require around 40 buses stacked on top of each other. I have no idea ...
