This is getting off-topic now, but I did a project last year about a bus tunnel though the CBD. Here is the link if anyone is interested:

Re: Forests & plantations

We have a number of man made forests obviously in SA, such as Kuitpo. Given how barren of trees a lot of our landscape is, even an hour or three out of the metro, why haven't more forests been planted? There's lots of areas between Adelaide and Murray Bridge that could do with tree planting, down a...

Re: Beer Garden

Awesome story in InDaily yesterday. Would be great if the SA Gov and associated organisations could land this event in Victoria Park, with battery change / pitstops in the Adelaide Street Circuit area... This is why I think Formula E would be great for Adelaide. The development of next level technol...

Re: [VIS] New Concert Hall

Until the day that sites such as the old Adelaide bus terminal, the old LeCornu site, the carpark behind HMT or any other piece of under utilised land and represents the days of CBD warehousing are gone, bulldozing thing like the Torrens Parade grounds should NEVER be considered. I absolutely agree...

...two sites that have been discussed, using Lord Mayor Sandy Verschoor's Casa da Música hall in Porto, Portugal as an example of size. Featuring a 1300-seat auditorium suffused with daylight, Casa da Música is a modern polygon-shaped building 9 floors high. Built in 2006 to house the Porto National...

Just so we can get back to regular discussion, the article I posted on the previous page mentions the 138m height and is a reliable source (being syndicated from a Murdoch mag): https://invest.cityofadelaide.com.au/blog/koomo-restaurant-will-be-adelaides-highest-cbd-diner-when-it-opens-in-crowne-pl...

Re: News & Discussion: Squares and Parklands

I mean taking a handful of our most important city (but under-utilised) parks and totally redeveloping them into amazing, world-class urban parks over the next 10-15 years, leading up to SA 200 years in 2036. The parklands are arguably Adelaide’s greatest natural asset. So let’s maximise their pote...

You're right, crowds are down, because the FFA runs the A League like shit. Chinese money bought Adelaide United, they own a crappy 4th div club in China. Why would the FFA approve such crap? There's your problem with Adelaide United, and the stupidity of the FFA rolled into one example. Here's two...
