Like most DPTI projects in SA, this one is going at snails pace. Quite possibly the most inefficient department there is. This project was never intended to start before next year. Design work is well advanced here, expect more news on this in the next few months. They should bring in the Melbourne...

It's rather ironic that interstate people were employed. This is the classic job market situation. I'm sure people applied that were from here and could easily do the work, but they just went for their mates.

A pity we don't have recall elections in this country. This is the perfect case for the whole council to be disbanded. Bring in fresh blood not these old geezers who just veto everything. Where was South Brighton Station? - It's on the 1974 map and was demolished when the new Brighton Station was built in 1976. Brighton Station was moved 200m south. Maybe an ADL-MEL-SIN or ADL-PER-SIN routing could be an option? Clear international customs in Adelaide and land at the international terminals in PER or MEL. Would also be handy for NZ connections.
