Have been taking some photos of the changing feel in the west side of the CBD. The University buildings and the apartments are having an impact. This photo from February

The west end of the city is starting to feel different and better. More people and employment happening and with residential (West Franklin + U 2 + student accommodation + Sofitel + Bohem , it will feel and look much better in a couple of years

Decent size foundations going in - having the whole site developed + a new supermarket will change the nature of that area

Crane rise from last night {mod action: resized image}

A white crane base installed in the centre of the site. Reinforcing steel mesh for the base is there but yet to be concreted. Probably a couple of weeks away
