Re: ## General Public Transport thread
Hi bay transit, The extra-six-Citadis story has been doing the rounds for some months. I also heard it on the radio this morning, so it sounds like the rumour is firming up! I have no knowledge of the funding of the Citadis purchase. We'll just have to wait and see. I also thought that the next Flex...

Re: ## General Public Transport thread
Here's 112 being reversed into the hard-standing area adjacent to the Entertainment Centre stop.
I had to leave around 2:30am as they were setting up the ramps.

Re: ## General Public Transport thread
Here are a couple of shots of Flexity 112 inbound from Melbourne. The usual keen photographers met 112's convoy at Coomandook (~140k's out). A semi' carrying the ramps went through about half an hour earlier. Offloading should take place around 1:30am tomorrow morning. This first shot is approaching...

Re: Official CBD Crane Counter Thread - 5
Here you go crane counters. North Tce 29th Jan 2011. An almost brand-new 350 tonne Samaras superlift crane assembles a site crane on North Tce. Bill. In the first shot the Samaras crane is aout to lift the engine/winching equipment up to the site crane. You can see the workers waiting in the the 38 ...

Re: Glenelg tramline movements
Althought the thread is about movements, this post refers to a lack of movements over this weekend (15th & 16th Jan 2011). Tonight (around 10pm), crews were sawing the concrete around the south-most rail in the Brighton Rd crossing to give access to weld a break in that rail. There is also an ad...

Re: Glengowrie depot works
Glengowrie Depot has been closed since last night... Hopefully Bill D or someone else has photographed some of the weekend activities. You're in luck bay transit! Here's a shot from the depot gate. http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s264/billd_photo/Glengowrie_26-6-2010_6825_small.jpg Flexitys 108 ...

Re: Glengowrie depot works
Wonder if 351/380 will come back there ? They won't return - sad but true, I'm afraid. The only hope for 367/370 would be if the Glenelg council were to decide that they want another round of Stop-12 runs next summer. Rumours suggest that the rental for these runs would be significantly higher next...

Re: Glengowrie depot works
This morning H370 was parked on the new track(southern end) outside the depot near entrance to track 3. Couldn't see H367! Wonder if 351/380 will come back there ? H-367 remains in the barn, at the northern end of road 3, immediately behind the roller door. You can see it through the windows from t...

Re: Glengowrie depot works
Hi Michael, The shots are taken on the eastern fence line. Tonight (Sun 9th of May) as I was driving along Morphett Rd, I noticed that there were no trams in the depot's northern yard. The barn's southern doors were open and there were at least a couple of trams on the newly laid tracks but it was t...

Re: H Class Tourist Shuttle
Sunday the 11th of April 2010. H-type tram 367 makes five runs from Glenelg to Stop 12 and return to complete the final of the Glenelg council's chartered heritage runs. The 1:30 trip was cancelled due to an issue with a scheduled tram requiring the use of the layover. The final trip, which left the...

Re: General Public Transport thread
I was passing the depot today and noticed that number 201 has become the third Citadis to carry advertising (for Colgate tooth care). The tram was being cleaned by a portable unit featuring a vertical rotating brush with attached water sprays and translucent spray guard. Take note of the advertising...
