Re: Glenelg Tram Line Upgrade

Turf laying over the old Victoria Square terminus was already about half-done when I passed by at lunchtime today. Also, saw shelter on low-loader at CityWest stop waiting to be installed around 5:20 p.m. - it's probably up by now.

Re: Glenelg Tram Line Upgrade

Some updated info on DTEI's news page, including renumbering of stops between Greenhill Road (becomes stop 1) and Moseley Square (becomes stop 17), and changes to bus stops in Victoria Square. And hopefully this page makes it clear to anyone who is still wondering, that all the trams will be free be...

If you opened your eyes a bit, you would see that there are people around who would find the walk uphill from the station to ...

Re: Glenelg Tram Line Upgrade

Froggy, I agree that there is frequent traffic congestion in North Terrace during the evening peak, but it originates further east, thanks to the streetscaping near the university, which has been been going on since well before the tram extension started. Trust me, I've spent enough teeth-gnashing e...

Hi all,

Just signed up after lurking for a while. I agree that this is a stunning design, but don't tell Major Marty that there's a skinny tree out the front of the current building, or he might just come along and hug it!
