Re: News & Developments: Bowden TOD

Jesus, if that's the original renders they've really not done a very good job replicating it... Just slabs of concrete. It is being built in sections. The big slabs of concrete you see in the photos are in the middle of the development facing Gibson. There is another building to go in front of thos...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines

It looks like it's part of a broader plan to ultimately ditch Tiger, and possibly revert Virgin back to a LCC. Do you have a source for this or just your personal opinion? I know this is the wet dream of certain VirginBlue fanboys on other aviation forums, but the current management of VA have made...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines

Fiji Airways is ending its direct Adelaide service from July. They will be routing customers via Melbourne on a codeshare with Qantas.

Always a shame when an international carrier exits... I guess the loads just weren't there to make it work.

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines

There is only 1 airline flying to Bali, that is Jetstar. Jakarta is probably not a market suited to Adelaide. Malindo starting provides a vast network of destinations in Indonesia. Really? When did Tiger quit the route? Why isn't Jakarta a market suited to Adelaide? And what about Surabaya or Yogya...

Its a shame the architects didn't make more of this with bigger glass balconies & ...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines

I think they might change the planes to A350s That would be nice and will give Adelaide passengers the chance to fly Premium Economy. The only downside is that you won't be able to upgrade to Business Class from Economy. You will only be able to upgrade to Premium. That's how it works with SQ. The ...
