The above is only a link to their FB page. Nothing directly related to progress of the spur line development.

Being in a museum, it would be fitting to build a short ramp for accessibility instead of a platform, that only enables one door on the train to be accessed. It would be a huge money saver for this joke of a government.

Re: News & Discussion: Population Growth
Well what's the solution? Castrate folks at birth? It will only take a max of about 100 years to bring the population down by 98% with this method. But it will ruin the economy.

Actually, the vehicles with the best suspensions in South Australia would have to be the AdMet Scanias from 1973-1045. These can withstand even the most challenging of uneven surfaces, as though they were a maglev bus. You would not even know that you were on a public road after a few seconds.

Curtis Rd is a car park in peak periods. It seriously needs at least two or three lanes. It's not going to fix itself.

Re: News & Discussion: Trams
I am so sick of these stupid consecutive governments believing that intersections provide better efficiency than grade separation. Particular when close to rail crossings. The road network is an absolute mess. It requires billions of dollars, if not trillions of dollars to fix, when at the same time...

From what I heard, the road was a carpark in the late morning today near Regency Rd. Was there an MVA? Overpopulation will continue to provide everlasting reassurance of road congestion, unless it's brought under control.

I assume you mean Rosewater. Roseworthy is in the lower north of the state. Will be surrounded by shoeboxes within 10 years at the most though. Unless the government wants to solve the housing crisis by decreasing the number of properties. I think somebody needs to have the guts to increase the spac...

Do the drivers enter the non-paying passengers into the BCU? I'm aware of some that don't. And I'd say that at least 15% of folks out there, if not more have never had a valid ticket in their lives.

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains
The RAAF/DSTO was in a semi-rural area 75 years ago. Now's an impediment to urban development, and the local economy. It creates jobs. But at the expense of business, real estate, and virtually everything else. Perhaps it's time to relocate it somewhere more remote, like Mallala or somewhere. It's l...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains
Another option would be to close the line for a bit, demolish the existing stations except Bowden, and build new ones exactly 600 metres apart. So instead of around 20 or 21 stations, you would have around 32-35. Nobody would be whinging about stations being too far away then, if they live along the...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains
It was a mistake to place the stations so closely in the first place. The same with the Seaford line. They should be placed about 1.5 - 2kms apart. The Holdens station on the former Henley Beach line was barely 300 metre apart. Now one is stuck with this set up, due to it being politically unfavoura...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains
It could be cheaper to build a new O'bahn from the 333 terminus to Port Adelaide with a 5 minute frequency than what it would to build a crossing over the ocean from Port to St Kilda to serve er, ants, flies, and Coke cans? In my opinion, Adelaide was not positioned in a location which is friendly t...

Unfortunately, it takes an emotional toll when running afoul of the 'law', with some.
Re the chip, use your imagination. Or you could ask them directly. They're installed by a laser at birth, whilst the mother is looking away. Only takes a few seconds.

Re: News & Discussion: Public Transport Contracts, Service & Policy
This makes me wonder if the actual physical card is still essential nowadays. The revenue officers/whoever don't give a rats whether or not you actually have a ticket. They only care about their pockets being replenished with $. There should be an option to travel without a card. Personally, I don't...
