I’m sorry, did that article say they reduced clearway times? How is that helping travel times?

Currie Street is really in need of a refurbishment with the proposal of 80 Currie Street, Sofitel, QT and 75-79 KWS.
Along with Grenfell St. Not only are the smack in the middle of the business district they’re also the chief public transport corridor — they deserve better.

With both Adelaidean and Realm topping out recently, I snapped these shots from the good ol' North Adelaide car park a few days ago. I have a feeling that Realm will have a much nicer top floor and roof area, when viewed from a distance, because the Adelaidean seems to have turned out a little disa...

The KW/Currie/Grenfell St intersection should become a Vegas style pedestrian free flyovers
Huh? That sounds absurd.

Currie Street is woefully underdeveloped so it's good to see it finally attracting attention. I have no comment on the design until further information is available (particularly what treatment the eastern boundary will receive).

Good riddance! Most of you know how protective I am of heritage and preserving existing facades etc rather than replacing character with shit, but I've hated the building on this site for years, glad to see it go. ??? Isn't this the building being demolished? https://i.imgur.com/7jRKh8B.jpg That's ...

Hang on... same design or is this being resubmitted ?
Do you mean Makris's design? Definitely not. The only other designs we've seen were concepts not part of an official bid. So this will be something completely new.

Can't say I'm rooting for this one to go up.

Any word on whether the proposed changes were let through?

I wonder, with only 50% sold, if saying they're 'breaking ground' is just a psychological trick to lock in more buyers or if they've got enough capital to launch speculatively?

I wonder if the $15 million from the SA government is new money or reallocated from the failed Port Augusta solar thermal?

'Left-turn slip lanes to be removed at Adelaide intersections following four pedestrian deaths' reports ABC News

It's about bloody time, but I'd note there are some other dangerous ones not mentioned for removal.

Re: News & Discussion: Electricity Infrastructure

There is a marked change in the total amount of energy exported from mid-2017. What changed? Did SA get new generation online, or was it a change in the market rules, or an increase in the Heywood Interconnector capacity, or something I haven't thought of? The decrease in imports seems to correlate...
