[COM] Re: Renaissance Arcade | 132m | 40 Levels | Realm Apartments

Speaking of the crown, a little disappointing to see a concrete box (plant room) sitting unadorned atop this building. I hope there's some treatment in store for it (more gold sheeting?) as it's really conspicuous.

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide City Council

Team Adelaide is mostly Liberal-aligned. The rest are mixed. Simms is obviously a former Greens senator, and we all know Moran to be conservative-leaning. But, of course, municipal politics in this state is supposed to be non-partisan... So Team Adelaide reflects the current "will of the people" ac...

That's excessively bright.

Or, at least, it comes across as such while the rest of the building remains dark. Perhaps it'll appear more moderate once the levels below fill and light up.

Agreed! But, for those new to the Internet, I'd also add: don't feed the troll.

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines

People are really struggling with reading comprehension here. Skybus will only be delivering airside, shuttle services not city connections. Although why the airport feels the need to outsource such basic operations is an interesting question.

Yeah, this crisis is a good lesson about practising not only personal hygiene but information hygiene. And a good opportunity to fine tool your media literacy to avoid spreading viral misinformation. [U/C] Re: Festival Plaza Redevelopment | $800 million

This is a new design. The article mentions other concept images; were they available on the website? Also, it's down from 27 to 23 storeys which is better but still too tall IMO (especially while the design remains seemingly unsympathetic to its surrounds). The timelines for completion are laughabl...

Scomo is doing better this time than when he was in Hawaii.
I don't know if actually just showing up for your job equates to doing better or, in fact, doing it well.

Re: Beer Garden

The reproduction rate in Australia is so far lower than the worst hit countries but not flat enough to keep us in line with the best controlled countries. South Australia has the next most cases per capita after NSW, though thankfully no evidence yet of community transmission. But I wonder what ove...

Re: Beer Garden

Just to bring it home to our interest in developments here, I guess we can forget about any of the proposed hotels starting this year or even next? The tourism industry will take a long time to bounce back (especially as the worst is yet to come). Coupled with looming recession (from COVID-19, bush...
