Is Bentham St next in line (noting it will become one way to traffic in Jan), will there be a second section worked on simultaneously again? And will Leigh St be made over also to match ...

This development was advertised on the front cover of the real estate lift out in Saturday’s ‘tiser so there is plenty of hope yet for a good outcome.

Interesting to note that there are no permanent trees planted in Topham Mall like there is in Bank St. There are 4 or 5 smallish trees in large planter boxes that can be moved around by a forklift, but nothing permanent. I have always thought that Topham Mall was crying out for some greenery.

I took this last week from KWS St of the new wall in front of the Festival Theatre that has been built to hide some air conditioning units. Originally I had thought it was a plain black wall but it clearly contains screens that were being tested

A crane base is on site at the Festival Flaza redevelopment next to the temporary stairs near the Dunstan Playhouse.

Having grown up in the suburb, nothing bugs me more than it being called 'Christies Downs'. No 'S' on the end of Christie PeFe with Christie Downs.
