Re: 'No chance' Adelaide will bid for Grand Prix

It wont be coming back to Adelaide, regardless of the costs. It will be going up to Queensland, I tell you that from now. The fact Melbourne is losing money hosting it, with the state government bailing them out every year, means it will face huge opposition to a return to Adelaide from the usual su...

Re: Perth opens first underground station

Personally I don't see why Adelaide couldn't support an underground network with lines into the suburbs. Think about it, buses, trains, the trams, they are all packed. People WANT to use public transport, but there is a lack of services and were there are services they basically suck. Cost would be ...

Re: KI ranked among the world's best!

Baron landscapes and all that aside, it all comes down to personal taste. You want to party non stop during the summer and have a holiday that goes off? Greek Islands and the Mediterranean. You want to admire green grass and unspoilt landscape and enjoy a quiet get away, Kangaroo Island. You can't c...

Re: #Completed : Adelaide Airport

Any ideas when the 06-07 pax figures come out? I have been noticing a lot more wide bodied aircraft flying overhead lately so I am expecting a significant increase in numbers. Did I hear right that Qantas has allocated a couple of 747s to cope with passenger demand for the GF? Late reply to this, b...

Re: Another day, Another shooting in the city

If you think crime is out of control now, speak to people who used to live in the north western suburbs, the Parks basically, 10-20 years ago. See how bad crime was back then. I used to live around Hindmarsh, and it was not safe at night 10 years ago to be out of your home. These days you can actual...

Ahaha the shell casings were a year old were they? They must have had on-site forensics to get that info out a few hours after the incident.
Oh and, what people thought were gun shots, was apparently, a car back firing. :wank:
