A larger Ferris Wheel for Wayville showgrounds...

Since the Skymaster Ferris Wheel at the showgrounds is getting old, maybe it could be replaced by a larger Ferris Wheel similar to Melbourne's version in the next few years! Maybe with first class & third class compartments! :P

Re: Glenelg trams to be removed

I really hope this isn't true but was just reading on another forum that all the remaining Glenelg H type trams are to be removed from traffic and never to be used on the glenelg tramway again. Re: Ticketing System Failures

On some of the new Scania O-Bahn buses, there are brand new bus tickets for seniors & they are green on green instead of the conventional blue, red or black on white!

Re: New OBahn artic?

The only negatives with the OBahn are; *The bottle neck that the Hackney Road approach currently sees (that's more to do with cars than buses). I'm not going to hold my breath but the current study on the OBahn corridor is supposed to cure that. *The current lack of articulated rolling stock for pe...

One of them was numbered 1015 and when I rode it a few times, it didn't behave like a see-saw! :o

At some car washes, the instructions advise you that idling after stopping in the right position is prohibited!

Ampol Tribute

Anyone remembered Ampol petrol stations? They're becoming very hard to find these days as they're being ousted by Caltex/Woolworths! :(

Re: 'Spin Dragon' amusement ride

It was the seat gondola which collapsed, in other words, broke off it's arms! :(
Where is the ride now? My guess is it is idly sitting at a workshop in an obscure location!

Re: #PRO: Adelaide Showgrounds Upgrade

The chairlifts were removed "temporarily" because they were apparently in the way of where they wanted to build the new Jubilee Pavillion. According to the Channel 7 news, they would be re-aligned to a new route across the showgrounds the following year after the Jubilee Pavilion was built. I'm pat...

Traffic can lead to delays for buses.
