Re: ACC threat to close Adelaide Aquatic Centre

On the railyards next to the hospital would be a perfect site. The current position of the aquatic center is terrible as you have all the negatives of needing to drive into the city to get to it, with it being far enough out of the city center that it doesn't have any of the positives. A railyards s...

The theater is going to be painted right rather than leaving that bare concrete?

Re: Water the freaking lawns

I’ve now been to two of the openings of the festivals in Adelaide one of Rymil Park and the other on Vic Park. I cannot fathom why the Council or the State government has not watered the lawns on either site leading up to the event? Sure we are in a drought but considering these are meant to be an ...

When this road opens in Sept this year whenever. And when Buckland park starts breeding its style of bad taste housing. Port Wakefield rd between PREXY AND NEXY will be a right prick. You wait and see. Ray. Good job they are already planning around that. :D http://www.infrastructure.sa.gov.au/north...

This, there are plenty of rooftops around that projectors could be placed on if the owners agreed to it.

I wonder if they have considered doing the Westpac building. Say what you will about its design but it would be absolutely perfect for something like this.

its buildings like these that dont deserve to be 40m... they deserve to be 100m I agree! The only thing bad about this building is that it is hidden away where it is (ok, not hidden, but not prominently shown off either) This would look fantastic somewhere along North Terrace, even better if it was...

There's no way in hell Westfarmers would willingly turn over a site to Woolworths. They probably lease both sites for that very reason. You better believe it. Preventing WW from getting a site is the reason the white elephant Coles Prospect exists. Do you mean that the other way around? There are c...

Me thinks it would be better to spent the proposed money for doubling the Southern Expressway and the elevated freeway at Regency park ($1.3 Billion) on improving the portion of south road in between Darlington & Regency Park. :2cents: Or are we hoping that further tram extensions will fix this??? ...

Drove past last night and while the dome wasn't lit up the big rectangular panel was and it was impressively bright, lighting up even the other side of Port Road. Once everything is finished up that precinct is going to look fantastic.

Re: #PRO: Golden Grove Village revamp

Wow look how green it is! I can't wait for this bloody drought to go away. I want to see green lawns and sprinklers again. Think of all the kids who have been deprived of running under and around sprinklers on green lawn. They dont know what they've missed out on. Might have to wait a long time, it...
