Hi David, Can I please ask, whilst we're on the topic of the Mall upgrade, are there any plans to install some low-level planters or flowers tubs in the Mall, like the previous two "Mall versions". On the whole, I think the new look is much better, but have thought it could do with some more colour....

Re: the removal of the last established trees in Rundle Mall, it's interesting how fiction when repeated often enough becomes "fact". The ficus tree outside Dymocks removed a few days ago has been widely reported as "40 years old"- that would mean the tree was standing there, in middle of traffic-fu...

Re: the cost, I think that the work is not entirely finished yet. There is more streetscaping to be completed during the year and more artwork to be installed.

Please, has anyone taken photographs yet of the actual work started on the Rundle Mall Redevelopment?
