[COM] Re: COM: Rundle Place | 76m | 15lvls | Retail & Office

Is it just me, or is foot traffic becoming less and less in this area? I recount it being very busy when the original HS's was there, partly because of the excess of bus stops along that strip. Seems the foot trafic has moved Westerly around City X.

I pray we don't get a 18 story 'box'. Please! This is a massive opportunity for something amazing, for $500 million i hope we see a beautiful 30+ story tower, i just hope it's not another opportunity wasted. What he ^^ said. I'm sorry, but why do we need a 30+ story tower? Think practically here, A...

Out of curiosity - have the government already allocated funding to Stage 2 of this project? Or could a change in government see Stage 2 cancelled. I really hope not, it would ruin any hope at this building contrasting as one.

[SWP] Re: #PRO: Former RAH Site (Design Competition)

Would like to see both. A high school on the eastern side of the site, a 200/300 bed private hospital on Frome Road (which could also include a new Dental Hospital). The heritage listed buildings on the corner could be re-furbished into a modern art gallery - under management of the state art galler...

[COM] Re: #U/C: Victoria Square Upgrade - $24m

Love the master-plan, but would prefer to see them move straight into a minor upgrade of the southern half of the square and shelve the master-plan than spend years debating whether they should spend more money on finishing what they started. All the southern half needs is some new footpaths, new tr...

Apparently it won't be a store and from the pictures i've seen looks kind of like an art gallery. Bingo. Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines

Quite surprised by this, would have preferred to see the heritage plane display moved within the plaza. Was always annoyed that they positioned Qantas Club where they did in the new terminal; would have preferred to see that and the Virgin Lounge be positioned on a level above the terminal building ...

From memory - the group responsible for the Rundle Mall upgrade are currently occupying this site and will be developing it when the mall upgrade is complete (I believe under contract with the ACC). So, I'd say the chances of this going ahead are more likely than not.

LOOKS AWESOME! Please, please, please be built! At 86m it would be our sixth tallest building, and would help boost our growing southern skyline. Would be wonderful to see something happen on that empty lot, which has been that way for like six years now. It would just be great to have something hi...

Plane plaza is a step too far Monique Bowley Oh, Adelaide. Sometimes I feel as if we are in a marriage. I love you, I really do. But sometimes I want to stab you. We were named in the Lonely Planet's top 10 cities to visit. We've just hosted a hugely successful World Tour cycling race. We're about ...

I'm a SACA member and I didn't attend the Australia Day ODI. I don't see anything wrong with not attending, I think you people forget that Australia Day is a busy day for anyone, usually when you become a member you keep that membership for life - so what's one Australia Day match in comparison to e...

It looks great, but the lack of symmetry annoys me. I dunno if that's the same with anybody else? As unviable as it sounds, I'd love for the southbound tram to go clockwise around the right side of the Square, but that would probably cause chaos to the people who already struggle with the current s...

More than capable of digging a pit without disruption to Hindley Street - Melbourne's Art Centre is a prime example of the depth of the Art Centre building and Hamer Hall is unbelievable and sits within the narrow property. I believe City East will be used to move courses from Magill into the city, ...

What an expensive school - $6 million per year in leasing the land on-top of operational costs which could be the same or more. Another half-hearted Liberal idea.
