[COM] Re: U/C: Westfield West Lakes Expansion | $95m

According to today's DJ's half yeary profit announcment West lakes store is under review as lease expires in 2015 and they are determining if they will renew. I always thought a Myer would be better suited to the area but this would leave Adelaide with only 2 David Jones stores. WA has 4 VIC 6 QLD ...

Re: U/C: Adelaide Airport Carpark & Pedestrian Plaza

Get a grip Adelaide. You seriously don't know when you're on to a good thing. I've never know a city full of such lazy wingers. In these modern times flying involves two things. Walking and sitting on your backside doing nothing for x amount of hours on a flight. You have to walk from check in to y...

[COM] Re: U/C: Rundle Place | 76m | 15lvls | Retail & Office

Any idea if they'll be re-aligning Grenfell Street, removing the concrete floor that was created outside the building on the Grenfell Street side and moving the bus stops back before the opening or soon about's? Or does that all happen when the Adelaide/Bendigo Bank building is finished?

You champion! Any clear signs of that Grenfell Street shop-front being an Officeworks?

Well, hopefully it takes off. Seemingly, a lot of these proposals go nowhere. :?

[U/C] Re: South Road Planning Study

I've been thinking for a while, why does South Road HAVE to be the North/South corridor? Now this may be a REALLY stupid suggestion, but why not consider Tapleys Hill Road (THR) as the North-South Corridor, with an upgraded ANZAC Highway and Port Road linking it into the city. This corridor would a...

Re: News & Discussion: General CBD Development

Barrio is a good idea, but obviously the Plaza sits idle for the other 11 months of the year. It'll be a sad day when it goes. From my understanding, they plan the create a new club similar to Barrio for next year. Eventually the new Festival Square could pose as a new venue for Barrio. Wait and see!

, get an entire re-fit-out of the Myer Centre (including the Myer store), restructure the building to allow better pedestrian flow throughout the entire buildingand a more upmarket appeal. Sorry to break off topic! Go on with the HS Building! :D Patrick this is already happening and started in Janu...

On another note; Adelaide Festival organisers have announced on that the 'Barrio' club will not return in 2014 because the redevelopment of the AFC car-park will have commenced. There appears to be a God somewhere... :D No more Hajek Plaza!!

Tuxedo Cat operators have announced recently that they will be vacating the site, a sign that this may be moving forward?

Re: U/C: Electrification & Upgrade of the Adelaide Rail Netw

Sad to see Keswick go. The opportunity was there to make a Southern Cross station out of it, but that would have made too much sense. The Government obviously didn't like the fact that there was a connection there at all (that little kefuffle dates back to the STA vs ANR days!) Actually, that isn't...
