If the design was something along the lines of the Hines Twin Street proposal, that would be great. Due to the highly prominent location of this tower, I'd hope there's some decent architectural expression here.

Cheers.

Does this top out before construction comes to a halt over the December/January period?
I would say yes, these guys are running on a seven day cycle between core and floor plates. The whole external structure should be well and truly complete by the end of the year.

Hit the 30s now

Well the "gap" is level 21, and just having a look from my vantage point id suggest floor plates are at level 27 and the core is at level 30. Still a fair bit of bulk to go.

My only query is why the BHP sign wasn't put up before the crane was dismantled? Rather than block a portion of the street off in the future with a portable crane to do the job. I'm assuming they'll do it using the buildings BMU. Usually signage is made of lightweight but robust materials, so a BMU...

If my counting is correct the floor plates are up to level 25. It will certainly have some bulk about it once it tops out. We should see the obvious transition to apartment floors soon too, once the form work climbs a few more floors.

What a great shot. It really highlights the fluidity in the floorplates

Great pic Norman, you can see the brackets for the signage on the top levels (south eastern corner) too.
Whats going on with the windows on the same corner levels below?
Think of it as an enclosed balcony. Those windows can be opened via shutter, allowing an indoor/outdoor space.

I'm pretty sure the Calvary site, plus others across the eastern CBD that are owned by the hospital are all going for sale for development. It's a huge corridor that is on offer, and with some sections falling under the no prescribed height limit zone, we could see more 130m+ proposals.

To gauge the final height, the current tower proper section, not including the podium, if you add that on top of what exists, you’ll be close.

The final height will be close to the current height of the crane. There’ll definitely have to be more of a crane rise before topping out.

It's going to look more like a miss matched mess when we start getting random blind heights when residents move in. I appreciate the tower will be a great living space, but apart from height it offers zero to the skyline.
