Yeah but to me, Currie and Grenfell are prolly our most "downtown NY" streets. No real need for them to be beautified. They serve the purpose they're designed for.

Is there nobody on Sensational Adelaide with even the slightest level of influence on Adelaide City Council or State Government decision making? Not one person? Anyone? If it's you, and you're reading this now... what the fuck is your problem? You have an army of researchers and place-makers at you...

Hey Ben, any chance you were the Ben who got their photo of the Adelaide skyline on channel 10 weather report tonight? Definitely taken from Kodo 🤔

Yeah ⬆️ I could almost see Old Mate gaining some kind of cult status.... everyone hanging out for what Old Mate might get up to next, where will he pop up?

Maybe Old Mate might even meet a new love interest whilst eating bratwurst in Hahndorf. Who knows!!!

Re: SA Economy

Regarding the "old Mate" advertisement, I was quick to write it off as a mistake purely from online surveys and reading/listening to media commentary over the past few days. After actually watching it today for the first time, I really can't see what the big deal is about. For starters it's very sho...

Great photo ⬆️ Just a shame the fog is blocking out Kodo, that angle would be quite nice if it was visible.
Kodo's there. It's the tall thin one in the centre.
Ahhh yep, I stand corrected. I got my angles a little bit mixed up 🤔

Nice angle! Almost looks like a Melbourne street scene
If that was a Melbs street scene, it would be full of modern high rises and a few 'scrapers 😎 But I appreciate your enthusiasm!

Although kinda iconic in the history of S.A, this site is a good example of the rejuvenation happening around Adelaide. I wish they would finish the Victoria Square masterplan.
Yes, agreed. This should've been the ACC's number 1 priority IMO.

In my opinion, when you are talking about major sporting infrastructure in one of the 5 biggest cities in Australia.... any investment under, say, $50 million is nothing more than a renovation. Most likely putting lipstick on a pig, as the saying goes.

I would just like to know, when pumping concrete to 3+ levels and more.... how is it done??

I work in heavy industry, but not construction. Is it passed directly from a truck, or into a tank/hopper and then pumped up?

Is it even pumped, or a screw-feeder type set-up used?

Also, surely they could come up with something a bit nicer than those dark coloured pavers. Maybe it's for a practical reason (don't show the dirt and grime so much), but they'll give the area a cold feel and look about it. We need the area to look inviting for people to want to spend time there.
