Re: SA - Nuclear Future

Who is gonna fund the building of a NPP? The government certainly can't.

Re: News & Discussion: Trams

[U/C] Re: News & Discussion: South Road / North-South Corridor

Wow what a complete joke the SA government is. WTF!!! How and why have they approved this. This land should be kept for the future stages or even used now to improve this terrible intersection of Daws and South. Between this site and the Emerson overpass there are about 10 parcels of land for sale....

It's the same story with every city in the world that decided to rip up it's tram network
Except Melbourne, best decision that city has ever made.

Re: News & Discussion: Public Transport

I need to use the PT system in the US and they have no card, I've already considered it before I leave. Tourists to here will do the same thing. The will look up how to get to somewhere by PT and see that you need a card and take it into account. As for people living here, nothing a short media camp...

Adelaide to Honolulu? That sounds not to bad :D :D :D

The first problem for tourists once they get here is getting to the city!! There is only one very infrequent bus and taxis.

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines

Another thought that just occurred to me is perhaps Air India to New Delhi - then again its all demand based, rather than just to satisfy a few people who don't want to change planes.

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines

ADL is within the range to fly an A380 or Dreamliner to LAX non-stop, but its not economical to do so. We simply don't have the amount of people to fill an airliner, compared to lots of connections to SYD, MEL or BRI then onto the US. The only international places that have a chance are Beijing, Tok...

[COM] Re: Masters Adelaide Airport

indoor race track :)

Masters was a flawed plan, I never envisaged it to be a money maker. They would have been better off opening a Lowes (the American version) store there, not a parody.
