[COM] Re: 269 North Terrace | 118m | 36 Levels | Student accommodation
With Realm and to a lesser degree Dwell and the other student accom in front of Realm, I don’t think this will stand out too hard. Totally agree about the stark white horizontal lines against the dark glazing. Floor to ceiling glass against the white would have looked better but so far it’s promisin...

Was originally called Fortune Duck but had a quick refurbishment before, what it now appears to be a closed.

Hoping this will turn out nicely. Those images look great thank you for sharing!

Renovate the outside and if paint it white, with black window-seal trims and I think it would work.
I wouldn’t be too heartbroken if it did go though.

That’s what I want to change, so the arcade. Not the markets themselves. When I lived in Adelaide I was there option so please don’t presume.
The arcade is in desperate need of a lift. I too hope the construction isn’t so drawn out it affects traders. No one wants that. Especially in current times.

Love the bronze finish! Does anyone know if this is the same used on convention centre stage 3? Because this looks more reflective and I wish stage 3 had something more akin to this.
One of the few moments I’m eating my words but very happy to do so.

I’m so excited for this. It’s a great design that will transform one of Adelaides clown jewels, the markets. It’ll have as big of an impact street level as it will on the skyline and really bring the skyline further south.

That last render makes me a tad nervous as the building in the left looks a lot better in the render than it does in person. Expected nothing less from you Mpol03. You are the epitome of negativity!! Given what’s come up in the last decade, I want better for our city. But be happy thriving in medio...

Thanks for explain
The second option will make it feel like a roller coaster with all the ups and downs it will do. But great to seen this being near completed.
