Re: News & Discussion: Laneway & Streetscape Projects

Here’s the trick. Get rid of the dam car park. It’s ugly, we have enough and it’s prime land for something much better.

Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail

Why not turn the top few floors into a cinema and civic centre? There is nothing outside of the food court bringing people into the centre. A cinema in the mall would be great.

So long as they look after the green, then this looks pretty good.

Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail

Demolish the entire CBD sans a couple of buildings and start again.

Lol. They will really need to internally restructure Myer Centre for it to work. And can they re clad the exterior? It’s as tired as fudge.

The angle that shows Realm and this are what truly show this to be bland. Realm outshines this in every way. This just looks so static, boring and rigid. From the renders the subtle angle in the facade carried through on all four corners. This? Looks like a cheap elongated block. It’s so uninspired.

Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail

I agree with the sentiment to bulldoze and start again... bring in a few big international retailers and it could become a thriving multipurpose hub.

[U/C] Re: SkyCity Adelaide Casino Expansion | 55m | 12 Levels | Hotel

A design in a similar glass and shape to the casino would really tie in the area and prevent it from looking like a hot mess. Hell even a similar colour glass would help bring both developments together nicely. Kodos only saving grace is that it’s colours continue on from the court house, in some ty...

At least from this angle Realm looks as tall if not a tad taller than West Pac.

Love this. Truly hope it happens.

Just need this, the University proposal and Dominator to get off and we have a real change to the city.

This is fantastic. Too bad it isn’t well over 170m.

I won’t get too excited though.
If this does take off though, we have a fair few big developments really changing and shaping Currie st.

Fingers crossed
