Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines

Does anyone know if there any statistics available on the number of incoming passengers on domestic flights who have transferred from an international flight?

Re: News & Discussion: Low/Mid-Rise CBD Development

I mean the white could unify the ramshackle of unattractive 80s buildings, but I walked past again later today and saw the outlines of a purple (the school colour) ribbon stretching across the fencing. So a mural it appears set to become. The lot I've seen working on it were early-to-mid 20s kids w...

Given Adelaidean and Realm are fairly set back in this airport view is it likely they may not appear in line with Westpac building when completed? Or is the ground slightly higher. Have marked up a red line where I thought they may top out around. No they will appear lower on two counts - ground sl...

Being a casino the lights will basically be on inside 24/7 on the lower levels, which will also impact the look of the facade.

Re: News & Discussion: Squares and Parklands

It was a mid-week meeting and cold and wet. The point is, it wasn't a popular venue, hence its closure, and hence not much point in reestablishing it without some kind of new strategy.

Re: News & Discussion: Squares and Parklands

Victoria Park has had major earth moving works done to it to make sports fields and paths. It is now nothing like a surface horse racing can be done on. The park prior as a horse track was mostly inaccessible with railing and fences. The only part of the ground the horse racing would maintain is th...

Windows now being installed on the western side. They look quite dark but maybe just because of the overcast day. Sorry, I didn't get a photo.

I don't find this too bad. It's not great either. Just a 6/10.

Any estimates on the height? I reckon 70 to 80 metres.
The floors are about level with Dwell, so however high that is. I think we definitely won't know how much of a winner or loser this will be until it is far closer to completion.

Seems odd, I was of the mind they had positioned so it wouldn't need to be relocated to work on Stage 2, so disappointing to see it coming down with (apparently) no new base in place.

there has been another core rise, the door gap just under the slider is the 13th floor, so the slider is in position for the pouring of the 14th floor. 2019-03-24 13-35.JPG Looks like they've dropped the core numbering too? Numbers are still visible on the southern side of the core - they're up to ...

[PRO] Re: Goodwood/Springbank/Daws Road Intersection

There are issues with the Liberal version regardless of whether lanes are widened, and that you don't need to be an engineer to understand, e.g. turning right on to Springbank from Goodwood Road will still not allow all of the traffic that wants to get around to get around, even with two lanes (its ...

Looks to be adjusting the lanes so as to create a designated bike lane - very popular cycling route.
