Re: Adelaide has lost its balls

A classic line from Thank God You're Here comes to mind...

"George Mildred is a woman"
"Not always!"

Re: Glenelg Tram Line Upgrade

Great pics Will and Sam!

I was there on Saturday night before going to a party, some worker looked at me and I have him the thumbs up, and then turned to someone else and in sign language told him I was drunk... I thought it was funny. Then about 2 hours later I was really drunk :P

Re: North Western Surburs - Unsafe?

I don't know about the others, but I like the new Scanias. Sure, they're a little bit too rattley on the O-Bahn track, but I still think they are a lot more comfortable than the Mercs (which feel like you're riding in a metal shell). The arctics are nice as well :D

Re: North Western Surburs - Unsafe?

That's true Will, but that's why we need to invest in skilled workers. They don't need to go to Uni, but they can still work in the mines up north, or for Custom Coaches or the like. Huh what made you say custom coaches? were you hear about them? Just a report I saw on the news, how Custom Coaches ...

Re: Glenelg Tram Line Upgrade

Nice work Will! I haven't had to get to the city to do the same, but now that I've finished Uni exams, I can get down to the city this Sunday I hope and snap some myself.

You have pretty much covered every angle possible. Nice work :)

Re: Glenelg Tram Line Upgrade

I guess you can say Stage Six is finilising the platforms, but I think this is the last road closure. I wonder how the buses will cope doing U-turns... but I guess not that many run on the weekends anyway.

Wow, those renders look awesome! The City Central towers are all stunning and might become the centrepiece and icon of Adelaide's construction boom.

Re: North Western Surburs - Unsafe?

I have a side of the story because I have lived several times in a house in Arndale. Trust me, what you see on the outside, you get on the inside. The people there are mostly low-income earners, and the area in general is messy, disgusting and scummy. Now, I don't live in the richest area in town, h...
