Tyler_Durden is onto something. Ampitheatre with back to Pulteney/Grenfell corner. Big screen above entrance to Cinemas all serviced by the pub and adjacent cafes. BTW kudos to Coopers Alehouse on Hurtle Sq for efforts with big screen at Rugby World Cup.

Private spending is the key. You know the council isn't loaded with money, the council can only do so much. You can not compare Mt Barker which was built in the 1830s, to Golden Grove & Mawson Lakes which were literally built from scratch. My point exactly. The rural living estates and new subdivis...

What a load of rubbish, Mt Barker isn't a PT planners nightmare its a town planners nightmare as Mt Barker was designed to be a little village, not a fast growing regional centre. In fact Mt Barker is nearly as old as Adelaide. The council has spent thousands on new footpaths and a walking/bicycle ...

Adelaide will only be able to afford a decent public transport system once we shrink the urban growth boundaries and make public transport a high priority amongst planners. Growth should be consolidated around the major centres, being: - Adelaide - Nourlunga - Marion - Port Adelaide - Salisbury - El...

littledyl16, you should consider yourself lucky. Theres only 1 bus service that goes to the city from Mount Barker, and it only goes every hour off-peak. So if your running late for the bus and you miss it, you have to wait a whole another hour for the next bus (this has happened to me so many time...

I would much rather see this go one ahead than Yorke Campus. Yorke's position really gets me, it is just that bit too far from the main commercial streets. Way too much space on offer there too. Maybe a few decades away but we should fill the true core CBD first like this proposal does and possibly ...

If this is for DTEI then it is a shame. The DTEI project would have maximum benefit for Adelaide if it was constructed in either the Central West or North West sections of the city. The momentum DTEI would add to renewal of these sections would be of great benefit. The completion of the tram loop ba...

Yorke Motors Mitsubishi is currently located on the NW corner of Angas & Pulteney Streets. This is a large site consisting of old warehouse buildings in pretty poor condition. A large office building in this location would lift the area especially if it has active retail frontage. The SW corner is M...
