Works have begun on the Pitt St upgrade.
The ACC should also look at a countdown timer for the pedestrian crossing at the Pitt St and Grote St intersection. Countdown timers installed at other pedestrian-heavy crossings in the city work quite well.

[U/C] Re: Central Market Arcade Redevelopment | 130m | 39 levels
The cost of building is astronomical at the moment, so it wouldn't surprise me if the rumours are true.

Re: Sir Donald Bradman Drv / Marion Rd Upgrade
The cost seems very high for what’s proposed, and acquiring fourteen properties sounds a bit excessive. Two questions spring to mind: Is this being done to create diversionary capacity for when South Road is being upgraded? What can be done to make provision for a City-Airport tramway via SDBD? I t...

[COM] Re: Festival Plaza Incl. 115m Tower | $800 million
What kind of broke, desperate state sells out by having the views of its heritage parliament blocked by an office building? I hope the second tower is nice, but I'm not sure how it can be fit in that space without looking ridiculous. One is enough. Don't be surprised to see this become the new 'Sta...

This site is really becoming a problem spot. Smashed windows, graffitti, visible collapsing interior, filth everywhere. And all on one of the most prominent corners in Adelaide. The council needs to do more to stop sites like this going to the dogs. Personally, I think rates should increase over ti...

Mali doesn't like TODs. Surprised he's not building a giant car park here!
Nevertheless, good to see something finally happening with this site.

This is great to see. I hope the similar proposal just down the road in Kent Town eventually gets up too.

Monarto and the Multi Function Polis both failed. What makes you think third time lucky will be the answer? I would really like to see more focus on the South Coast region (Victor Harbor, Port Elliot, Middleton, Goolwa) into South Australia's second major urban centre with a population of 100,000+....

Good to see. The Parade is perfectly positioned for projects like this. Hopefully we see a tram going up there one day.

Even Chadstone, Australia's largest shopping centre, only has buses going to it. Although it does have specialty buses from the CBD in addition to regular suburban bus routes. Mali and Labor have shown no interest in investing in public transport barring a spur line in PA. The best we can hope for i...

Speed limit. Only in the urban sections. North of The Port River Expressway the speed limit is 110km/h. When I was making a comparison to the NS Motorway I wasn't referring to speed limits, I was referring to technologies. This is annoying to be honest. What's the point of a restricted access, free...

It would be nice to see the old RAH east wing returned to the Botanic Gardens, which was originally proposed for the site.
