This one sure is flying along!! I go past there about once a week and everytime I see it there has been so much progress. Good to see, can't wait for construction on the towers to start....or is it already? Seems to be all the way to Grote St frontage. And totally agree re Keswick, it SURELY MUST be...

Holy cow @ spire. I think I need some towels. Was wondering what the hell was going up on the SE cnr when I saw it today flying in from Brisbane!! So this gets counted in the official height of the building? Does the old JLW (Oracle) have it's spire included?

No worries mate thanks for clearing that up. Was hoping that Bentham/Spire would have 2 cranes but yeah, given the pretty trim nature of the building, one will prolly be enough.

Few months ago I guessed they'd be comin down around the end of June. *sheds tear* they were great while they were up there, but when Bentham comes up we should have two more :) So Pikey, that northern crane is exactly the same one that did the advertiser? I'm certainly no expert on crane types but ...

Urk. That is vile to be honest, I don't like it at all. Great that we have something 72.5 approved but it would be nice if the render got changed a little. IMO we need a few more shear faced glass buildings, nice deep dark glass or some more glass like the CFS building on Waymouth but much taller wi...

Great shots Pants 8)

Noticed last week or week b4 that one glass panel on left hand side of Waymouth st frontage had been smashed, about 4 levels up or so. Probably concrete pour bucket bumped into it on way up.

I'm just like you Adelarch, I was picturing the same thing with the 'green' scaffolding there! If you look at it the right way you can sort of visualise the finished product to a degree.

Great work the Pikey, another crane to the skyline :)

Nice work Howie.

Must say while this one looks nice from the west, it certainly doesn't appeal to me from the northern aspect. Uneven and blocky, would look much better with the western frontage being pulled around to the north with lots of glass.

Thanks for the update guys, didn't notice the crane base this morning, will have a good nosey as I walk right past there later this arvo on the way home. Blue base, now I am very confused as Pikey mention. B&H are doing this tower as far as I'm aware, perhaps a diff one for demolition....then ta...

1992 was a fantastic year, but for other reasons :D I certainly can feel the vibe in the city, especially down King Bill street, and that is where the vibe should be as well. Tad sad to see the Criterion demolished but it's for good purpose. Also had to laugh @ a bloke yest arvo exclaim "Oh fuc...

Yup, looking nice now, soon pedestrians will have to walk right around in the temporary underpass/walkway thingo. HEAPS AND HEAPS of activity there today, few bits of building pulled off and stripped, many windows gone and pretty much all external A/C systems have been ripped out. Just curious, how ...

Yes, must admit I had a laugh when I saw the towers they shunted in there, Crown Towers jumped at me like a dog off a leash. Knew I had seen the FWP b4 but couldn't put finger on it till reading here. Was also not aware of the 27level Skycity tower proposal, to be frank now would be a good time to p...
