[SWP] Re: Central Market Arcade Redevelopment | 130m | 39 levels

I did also think this was a bit of a strange outcome, being only the second Treehouse site on the planet. After checking out the London Treehouse website, it became pretty obvious they are going for a particular aesthetic that they hope will fit into the Market "vibe". So to speak. Here's ...

Agree. Can't believe it took this long.

I've flown on the A350-900 out of Adelaide with both Singapore and Qatar and found the experience to be top-notch every time.

Re: SA Economy

Excuse the lateness, but the CommSec State of the States report was released for the June '23 quarter a while back. S.A has moved from equal second to third spot. Adelaide recorded the highest inflation rate, not really a metric you want to be leading. Click on the link to see in more detail..... ht...

[COM] Re: Coles Norwood Redevelopment | 8 Lvls

I have a bit of history with this mall, it was the location of my first ever job way back when it was Woolworths. Agree with the sentiment above, that is a very poor outcome. Not only the retail part but also the bland exterior on the apartments. Norwood is traditionally seen as an upmarket part of ...

Re: News & Discussion: Trams

Public transport in Adelaide is shit. Most people don't want to use it. It is not convenient in the slightest unless you live near a train station or tram stop. And the majority do not. Totally unfair comment....where else in the new world (USA/Canada/Australia/New Zealand) can you find a city of 1...

Re: SA Economy

A crowd of 48,000 for the state Of Origin is a good result in my book. I don't feel like the few thousand empty seats were noticeable on the TV, they were in the far corner of each of the stands, the Riverbank Stand in particular. Let's be realistic too, Rugby played on an oval rather than a true re...
